摘要

为了解决嵌入式系统中多通道USB 3.0设备并行高速数据采集问题,基于FPGA的PCI Express硬核技术设计了一种xHCI(eXtensible Host Controller Interface)协议软核,软核主要包括xHCI协议命令环、等时传输环、控制传输环等功能部分,并应用该软核实现了USB3.0视频相机的控制和数据采集。实验结果表明,设计的xHCI协议软核能够有效、准确完成USB高分辨率相机的控制和数据采集。该方法有效解决了计算机实现多通道USB3.0 设备进行并行同步数据传输的难题,在未来应用中具备更强的普适性和灵活性。

Abstract

In order to solve the problem of parallel high-speed data acquisition of multi-channel USB3.0 devices in embedded systems,an xHCI protocol soft core is designed based on the PCI Express bus of FPGA.The main package of the designed soft core includes the xHCI protocol command ring,isochronous transfer ring,control transfer ring and other functional parts,and so on,the control and data acquisition of USB3.0 video cameras are implemented by applying the designed soft core.The experiment results show that the designed xHCI protocol soft core can effectively and accurately complete the control and data acquisition of USB high-resolution cameras.The method effectively solves the difficulties of computer implementation of multi-channel USB3.0 devices for parallel synchronous data transfer,and has stronger universality and flexibility in future applications.
