Abstract

In the paper,a rapid prototyping platform for embedded control systems based on LabVIEW is proposed.The design uses the communication,drive and feedback board based on embedded system and PXI bus controller to build the data interface layer system hardware.Meanwhile,the model real-time simulation layer software system is developed based on LabVIEW,Simulink and VeriStand environment,which constitutes the virtual controller of the rapid prototyping platform.Based on this platform,the designed algorithm model can be downloaded to the real-time virtual controller,and the performance of the control algorithm can be inspected before the actual controller is developed,which effectively shortens the development period.The rapid prototyping platform has the advantages of high real-time performance and high portability,which is convenient for modeling,design and simulation work, and can be widely used in various embedded control systems.
