Design of FPGA Ultra High-definition Image Acquisition System in Machine Vision

Abstract

In order to meet the requirements of current machine vision and other fields for high-definition imaging,a design scheme of an ultra-high definition image acquisition system based on FPGA is proposed,that is,the Xilinx Artix-7 series FPGA chips is equipped with relevant modules to achieve image acquisition,storage and display.In hardware design,IMX183 image sensor is selected for image acquisition,DDR3 chip is used for caching,Flash chip is used for storage,and DC-DC module and LDO power module are used together to achieve multi-channel system power supply.In software design,the image sensor is configured by SPI protocol.Through actual testing,the system can achieve 20 million pixels of ultra-high definition image display,and can be used in industrial cameras,surveillance cameras and other products with optical structure,which has high practical value and research significance.
