Multi-data Ethernet Framing Method Based on FPGA

Abstract

In industrial control or automation control fields,many devices use a variety of external communication ports.However,various external interfaces are followed by complex data.To deal with the problem,different protocols are required for different data interfaces,and the speed and transmission distance of each communication port are different,causing a lot of inconvenience.Network data not only simplifies complicated data processing problems,but also provides networking capabilities for other communication ports,enabling devices to realize remote control and data sharing.At the same time,the high real-time performance and high reliability of FPGA enable the equipment to work under more complex working conditions.The Ethernet framing method in the paper realizes the conversion of four kinds of data of different communication ports into Ethernet data frames.
