Abstract

In the paper,a 5G IoT gateway design scheme that integrates multiple communication protocols is proposed combining with the actual communication requirements of the power business.The design selects IPQ8072A as the main control chip and supports 5G,WiFi,Ethernet,HPLC,LoRa,and serial port communication methods.It is not only suitable for performance-sensitive broadband communication business scenarios such as video surveillance and intelligent inspection,but also suitable for cost-sensitive narrowband communication business scenarios such as acquisition and sensing.The test results show that compared with 4G terminals,the 5G gateway has greatly increased the transmission rate and verified the lightweight security encryption and authentication function.This solution has rich functional interfaces,realizes the parallel transmission of multiple data channels,and realizes the “end-side-cloud” communication link of the power Internet of Things by means of convergence,which has a wide range of application scenarios.
