Abstract

A bird recognition and classification system is designed and implemented based on Raspberry Pi running Raspbian operating system and Microsoft cognitive service.This paper primarily introduces the overall design,required hardware resources,program design,and system implementation.Simultaneously,using a public bird data set as an example,the specific test results are provided.The system can assist people in better recording endangered birds and understanding birds,thereby improving research and protection of wild animals.
