Abstract

When the domestic IoT total solutions are applied to foreign customers, they face challenges in terms of privacy, interconnection, usability, price, selectivity and customization. This paper proposes an AIoT open source solution for foreign markets to solve the above challenges. The solution includes smart sensors and execution modules,an open source IoT edge terminal with IoT gateway function, and an open source IoT cloud platform, and is illustrated by a design example of a smart hotel room. This solution strives to start from customer needs and user experience, and provide customers with options ranging from the simplest local networking to complex cloud management and control,so that technologies such as artificial intelligence and cloud computing are close to users rather than showing off these technologies excessively. The AIoT open source solution in this article makes foreign customers no longer worry that solution providers will obtain their privacy. At the same time, foreign customers have more choices in products, especially sensors and IoT devices, and obtain higher cost performance. For foreign industry customers,it is easier to implement industry customized products for end users.
