Design of High-reliability Storage System Using eMMC

Abstract

In order to meet the demand of telemetry system in aerospace field for large capacity,high speed stability and high overload resistance of data recorder,a high reliability storage system using embedded multi media card (eMMC) chip is designed.The system uses FPGA as the main control chip,and parses the data flow in real time through the Gigabit Ethernet interface.The parsed data are framed and finally written into the eMMC storage unit through the DDR cache.After the storage is completed,the verification data can be read back.The system has been repeatedly tested and verified under actual working conditions,and no packet loss and error status have been found.It provides a solution for high reliability,high speed and large capacity storage of data in the field of aerospace telemetry under high overload environment.
