Smart Road Cone for Internet of Things Using Satellite Dual-mode Positioning

Abstract

"Smart road cone" adopts satellite dual-mode(GPS/Beidou) positioning+Qianxun high-precision differential positioning technology,by transforming the traditional road cone,the exact location of the accident can be located in seconds (meter level) under hot start,and upload it to the One NET IoT platform,the third party application platforms can use the API interface provided by cloud platforms to obtain system information of smart road cones,thereby achieving rich application scenarios.Therefore,"smart road cone" no longer needs to be reported manually after it is put into use.It will automatically collect information such as road occupation,road closure,etc,and can guide car owners to avoid construction sections in advance or slow down in the form of map display to prevent secondary accidents.Compared with traditional traffic cones,the "smart road cone" is equipped with high-precision positioning and IoT communication modules,and is also connected to China Mobile's OneNET data platform and Qianxun high-precision positioning platform,which can effectively solve problems such as road traffic safety warning.
